Jan is an active member of Medina Squares in Medina, Ohio and Brecksville Squares in Broadview Heights, Ohio. She is Corresponding Secretary of the Cleveland Federation of Dance Clubs. She assumed the responsibility of the square dance activity at the Cuyahoga County Fair in 2002. She is Medina Squares' representative in the Cleveland Federation of Dance Clubs.
