GOING TO TOOT OUR HORN A BIT TONIGHT, big news is the numbers that attended the dance hosted by the Ponderosa Promenaders this afternoon. 112 came to the High country Safari and had a blast dancing to Mike Olivieri and Mitchell Thompson. What fun and energy filled our hall. Thanks again to all of you that have been so supportive our new club.

On Friday the Square Dusters will have their dance at Club Tico. It’s a 50's fun dance. Poodle skirts and pedal pushers are in order. Pat McBride is calling and cueing. That dance will be a blast.

Then this will be the biggy for Foot and Fiddle this year and probably for years to come.

Yes their 50th annual Sweetheart Ball.

Rounds will begin at 6:30 with Arlin Sample, and squares at 7:00 with Mountain Magic. The dance will be at the Ranch 4 H Hall.

They will break around 8:00 to honor all the royalty of the past that are present, and then Bonny and Jim Pardy will crown the 2012 King and Queen. Don't miss this dance, and remember all you single dancers, all of you are our special Sweethearts in our dancing family and we surely look forward to sharing this dance with you as well.

Sunday is a Northeast Council meeting to be held at Outlet Mall and that meeting is open to all dancers and will begin at noon, 5661 McWhinney in Loveland.

Marlin Spellmeyer's surgery went well, so pray now for a speedy recovery for him.
