Meeting of the Denver area Council

A social
gathering of the Denver Council area club President’s was hosted on Saturday,
July 11th at the home of Jim and Marcia Langdon.The purpose was for the Council Club President’s to get to know one another, and
share ideas and information about their clubs with their peers.Matt Raynak gave a brief speech about the future and how the new council
leadership wants to involve the clubs with a cooperative effort in growing
square dancing and helping to make their clubs stronger.The
next meeting of the Club President’s will be a round table gathering for club
president’s to share their problems and successes.Approximately 45 people were in attendance and enjoyed hamburgers and hot dogs
cooked on the grill and delicious side dishes brought by the President’s in pot
luck style!The weather even cooperated by not raining
till the event was over!
