DUTIES OF DAS&RDC DIRECTORS

 Shall:

1.       Be voting members of Executive Board, elected for a 3-year term.

2.        Learn how Council functions in conjunction with the annual Colorado State Square Dance Festival sponsored by the Colorado State Square Dance Association (CSSDA).

3.       Work with the Council President as procedural advisor and with the Past President in their very important job as Club Advisor

4.       Provide continuity throughout the organization by learning all of the job positions in the council and advising the President and the Executive Board in the proper implementation of Roberts Rules of Order..

5.       Review job descriptions each year, revise and edit, and present them to the Council President for approval and retention for future elected officers use..

6.       Attend monthly Executive Board and Council meetings, make reports on committees that the President may have you serve on, and vote as necessary.

7.       Assist Executive Board officers as necessary.

8.       Be the responsibility of the Sr. Director for setting up and taking down of chairs and tables at Grange Council meetings.

9.   Serve as greeters at the door for each Council meeting and assist new representatives and guests who are not familiar with the meetings.
