Float Schedule
The Float Has been canceled until further notice by the council. FLOAT RULES Note: The float is stored at the Enterprise Grange located at 72nd & Simms. You must call the float committee chairman which has the keys to the gate. They will let you in to pick it up. The covers should be left on site. The tarp can be put in the new utility box at the front of the trailer. To schedule the float for your club, please have a officer of your club, e-mail the Float Chairman, (303-287-6977) or Webmaster, 303-425-1353 for more information. There is a $25 maintenance charge before using the float that must be sent to the council treasure or handed to the treasure at the next council meeting. Send the contract filled out, and copies of drivers license and insurance card of drivers to John & Clara Tapparo at 9261 Wigham St., Thornton, Co. 80229 as soon as possible. The fee and contract must be paid, signed & ok'd before we can release the float to you. If you send in the $25.00 fee, the Councils mailbox is... (Council's mailbox is) DAS & RDC Denver, Co. 80250-1523 Also you must supply your own (3/4ton minimum) truck to pull the float. A 2" ball must be used on your hitch at all times while pulling the float. Also you cannot drive over 55mph while pulling the trailer on the highway just like any U-haul. There is no exceptions. A 2" ball will be provided if you do not have one. This must be returned when the float is brought back. The float must come back in clean and reusable condition so it is ready for the next club to use. Thank you for abiding by these rules. Please download the float contract below.
