April 9, 2010 Host Magic Valley Singles
The meeting was called to order by President Everett Copenbarger at the China Village with three officers absent.
The treasurers report was given.
Club Reports: Buttons and Bows: April Flop is Sat April 10, Spring Picnic is the theme. Workshops are now from 7 to 9 pm with all dancing together, Round dance classes are Thurs also from 7 to 9. Graduation dance will be May 17 with root beer floats,.
MV Singles: Workshops on Wednesdays are going well. Mike Miiller and Pat Miller won the best hats at the Hat Dance, Wed April 14 is the Rags to Riches dance, Come dressed in rags or old clothes.
Left Footers:Round lessons are held Mon, Tues and Wed afternoon
River Reelers: Lessons on Thurs are over, Spring Fling is Sat April 11 at West Minico. Plus dance in the afternoon, eat at 5:30, and Mainstream dance from 7 to 9.
Federation Report: Federation meetig and dance will be May 8 at the Moose Hall, Twin Falls Meeting at 2 pm , dance at 7:30, eat at River Rock Grill at 5;30. Moose will have a Mothers' Day breakfast Sun, $5 each, and we will finish the meeting afterwards.
Publicity: Trails End Flyers are out for Minico, Thurs June 10,
Unfinished Business: Our dancers that are laid up: Mary Fields and Carol St Jean are both home from the hospital and doing better, Gid Harr is in Rehab.
New Business: We voted to cancel the 5th Sat dance in July, think about the Oct 5th Sat dance,
Relay for Life: is May 14-15, meeting at the Mon Apr 19 dance in Jerome. Betty Rice collected $540 and $161 by Dawn Hutchinson.
The next meeting will be May 7 at the Golden Corral in Twin Falls.

We have a good strong class of new dancers this season and hope they will continue to dance. We have a yearly project of working in the soup kitchen at the Catholic Church in Jerome once a month.
We dance every Wednesday evening at the JeromeAmerican Legion Hall, with beginning dancers at 7:00 and experience dancers at 8:30. All dancers share a potluck on the 3rd Tues. of the month.
