Lessons

Square Dancing is dancing in a square with a partner and 3 other couples. A Caller "calls" out the dance and you follow the directions. Anyone can do it! Square Dancing requires lessons to participate in dances. As with other dancing, there are multiple levels that can be achieved. Beginning dancers take Mainstream lessons. After Mainstream lessons, you can advance to the Plus level.

Round Dancing is another form of dancing. You dance with a partner in a large circle with other dancers and a Cuer "cues" you to the steps.

Below is the current schedule for classes in the Northeast Council area. A partner is not needed to participate.
