Annual Report

  We have now entered the early months of the 2012 promoter year.  There are several changes as well as some clarifications on both the Club Level Form and the Individual Form.
  This program which was established in an effort to help clubs recruit new dancers,  make our activity more visible within our communities and to promote a greater level of participation among our dancers.  It appears that the 2011 season produced a record number of clubs and individuals participating. 
   Take a minute, download the forms from the state website and place one on your refrigerator.  Plan ahead, and I can almost guarantee that you will be able to earn this award.  Club leaders, designate this as one of the priorities for your club in your 3R program.  The club level program is right up your alley for Recruit/Retain/Regain.
  All forms must be received by the program chairperson no later than February 1 of the year following the year of qualification.
   Remember that the more we promote our favorite activity, the more “dancing friends” we make. It is up to us to spread the wealth, after all, the majority of square dancers are dancing because, SOMEONE ASKED THEM!
