Square Dance Program

We will begin the 54th Colorado State Festival with a Trail End dance on Thursday evening, June 11th , called by the registered callers for the state festival.  The dancing on Friday and Saturday will include mainstream, plus and advanced dancing with plus and advanced workshops. 

Our featured caller will be Jerry Junck, a nationally known caller from Nebraska and Arizona.  Jerry will be featured one evening in the mainstream hall and one in the plus hall.  State callers will call both plus and mainstream tips during both days.  Saturday evening will conclude with all dancers joining together for the final hour with Jerry Junck.

Round Dance Program
The Round Dance program at Safari Swing will have programmed dancing at Phases II through V on Friday and Saturday evenings.  Programmed rounds will be held in two dedicated halls with wood floors over carpet.  Rounds will also be included in the Square Dance halls during the evening programs.  Saturday morning and afternoon, there will be Round Dance workshops featuring Adrienne and Larry Nelson teaching Phase II through Phase V dances.  The Nelsons will be joined by local cuers to complete the program.  Come join us for a great Round Dance experience.
