This Year, 2004 is very special to Silver Spur in that we are celebrating our 55th anniversary plus the 55th year of having the same caller. We do not believe that this has been achieved before and are referring to our celebration as "FIESTA 55-55".
On Friday, April 16th, there will be a banquet at the Sportsman's Club, 4001 NW 39th, at 7:00 PM to celebrate the 55th anniversary of both our Silver Spur square dance club and Gerald's calling for the club. There will be musical entertainment, moments of past history, door prizes, and donkey piñatas.
On Saturday night, April 17th, we will still be celebrating as we dance the night away at the India Shrine Center, 3601 NW 36th ( not our regular dance location). The festivities will begin with a reception and social period at 6:30 PM and the dance will begin at 8:00 PM.
